Penny the Dog back at the Howard Lake Library

March 31st, 2009

[ April 18, 2009; 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. ] Penny, the R.E.A.D. therapy dog, will again be at the Howard Lake Library for a second “read to your dog” event.  She will be at the Library on April 18th, at 11:30 AM.

Please register at the Library for a time slot.  You may either stop in or call 320.543.2020.

Junglewalk Storytime

[ April 15, 2009; 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm. ] Stories, songs, games and crafts.  Join Mary Wherry as she presents Junglewalk Storytime on Wednesday, April 15 from 6:15 to 7:00 PM.  Aimed toward youngsters ages 3 - 8, this program is limited to 20.  Preregistration is not required.

Read to Your Dog/Tail Waggin’ Tutors March 14

January 25th, 2009

[ March 14, 2009; 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. ]  Sponsored by a local member of Therapy Dogs International,  Tail Waggin’ Tutors will be at the Howard Lake Library on Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 to 12:00.  This is an opportunity for younger students to “read” to an accredited dog and handler.

4th Annual Book-tique: Shop with the Friends

COFFEE TIME–NO BAKE SALE

Laura Ingalls Wilder: Life as a Pioneer
