Friends of the Howard Lake Library

[ May 13, 2009; 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm. ] Visit Old McDonald’s farm through stories, songs, games & crafts.  On Wednesday, May 13th, at the Howard Lake Library, expert storyteller, Mary Wherry, will again present a program for children ages 3 to 8.  This event runs from 6:15 to 7:00 PM.

[ April 18, 2009; 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. ] Penny, the R.E.A.D. therapy dog, will again be at the Howard Lake Library for a second “read to your dog” event.  She will be at the Library on April 18th, at 11:30 AM.

[ March 14, 2009; 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. ]  Sponsored by a local member of Therapy Dogs International,  Tail Waggin’ Tutors will be at the Howard Lake Library on Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 to 12:00.  This is an opportunity for younger students to “read” to an accredited dog and handler.
